Along with their dedicated Rhino, 'Shield of Optera'
The second half of the 6th Squad, theoretically of the 2nd Company, is lead by Squad Leader Epheus. Recruited shortly before the outbreak of the Badab War, Epheus is one of the youngest and most decorated 2nd Sergeants in the Chapter. It is widely assumed that he will be appointed as leader of his own squad as soon as such an opportunity presents itself, though at that point he'll likely have to lay down his trusty flamer Venator Due mostly to this fact, it is not uncommon for Epheus to lead the 2nd half of the squad into battle absent Veteran Sergeant Volare. As a newer recruit, who has seen the Black Rage since his induction, Epheus is steeped in the Sanguinary Cult.
Suitably impressive. Am glad you have given IA9 a read now, as I am also about to start our Chapter Master and then his Sanguinary Guard. I look forward to looking at your interpretation.
ReplyDeleteLove the panel work on the Rhino brings it together nicely. Your becoming quite skilled at chequer patterns :)
The rhino door is fantastic. Congrats. Personally I'm thinking of starting a Minotaur Killzone team, just waiting for IA10 to arrive.
ReplyDeleteThese are really good.
ReplyDeleteI think you should post these on the B&C. I think it would really encourage other Lamenters, Imperial Fists and even Scythes of the Emperor players in their painting.
I see many posts saying 'I would do these guys, but I can't paint yellow'
Sometimes people need to see something done to get the courage to give it a whirl....
Will do Marshal. Putting a little post up in the BA section...
ReplyDeleteCan we get a closer pic of that Rhino art? Looks pretty sweet. Also I thought that unit rolled in a Razorback which I think you should throw lascannons on.
