Played an 1850 Seize Ground (4 objectives) against Kings' Mantis Warriors...
The arid Administratum world of Durjah fell under attack by the Tyranids in 935.M41. The Splinter fleet, dubbed Chupacabra, had arrived from above the galactic plane. Summoned by an astropathic relay, the Mantis Warriors, on crusade in a nearby system, arrived in 936.M41. By that time all of the scriveners and adepts of the world had been consumed and the Tyranids had begun consuming the world itself. Rather than cede the world to the xenos, Captain Mantodea took a Strike Force to the surface. They engaged a force of large Tyranid creatures in the city of Xerul.

...many are laid low...
The Mawloc consumes eleven Battle Brothers...
The Tyranids secure their land...
The Tyranids spawn wave after wave of Gaunts, and only a handful
of Mantis Warriors escape the surface...

Go Mawloc!
ReplyDeletehe only got 3 tactical marines... lol
ReplyDeleteMonumentally BAD first turn took the breath out of my game. Seeing as I could have slid by with a draw had the game ended on turn 5; it was a good game all in all. I am happy I only lost by one objective.
