No, not starting Vampire Counts for Fantasy. I am, however, making a new warband for one of my favorite games ever, Mordhiem. So this was the test guy and I am really happy with some of the interesting tones I was able to create with layering on the skin....

Warlord with Fellblade and Skaven Army Lists
So I have been doing pretty damn well with my Skaven since I got back into playing them, but my list is a bit on the heavy side. Thus I painted up this Warlord to make it a bit more palatable. Here are the two versions...

Both the lists have the two Aboms, but the second list is not near as powerful because it cannot dominate the magic phase. I think the Warp Grinder Night Runners will be fun. If I don't misfire them, they are pretty much guaranteed a charge, maybe get Death Frenzy off on them...

Space Marine Commission and my Hellpit Abomination
A Techmarine with Servitors I knocked out last night, I think they look pretty snazzy...
So I am remaking my old-old Skaven army with the release of the new book and I'm set on fielding two Hellpit Abominations (they're just monstrous). This is my first one converted from a corpse cart, an old rat ogre, and a LoTR troll (and some putty). For the second one I am using this guy. So there will be a few Fantasy posts coming down the pipes...
