Assault Squad Rigio

Theoretically the 7th squad of the 2nd Company, Assault Squad Rigio is one of the primary squads assigned to Strike Force Iltempus. Veteran Ancient Rigio is extremely venerable, having first earned his appointment following the Corinthian Crusade in 704.M41. He bears an ancient glaive, crafted for him in 857.M41 for his achievements on the shrine world of Apuis III. The Adepts of Apuis crafted the weapon for Rigio after he was seen holding a breach for twelve hours, wielding a lamp post after his chainsword became too encrusted with the gore of heretics. During the Badab War Rigio held his squad to a strict code of bloodlessness. Not a single one of his Battle Brothers drew Loyalist blood during the conflict, instead relying on feints and submission close combat attacks. Rigios tactics are firmly entrenched in the Codex Astartes, and it seems, with his already great age, that he will never succumb to the Black Rage.

'Baal' Predator 'Iconoclast'

The 'Iconoclast' was originally manufactured as a Predator Destructor. During the Badab War, the Battle of Optera in particular, the Lamenters performed many battlefield weapon conversions. This is the origin of this tanks weapon configuration, which is said to have been made by Techmarine Ignacio.

Death Company Xeras

The Death Company of Strike Force Iltempus are few in number, but each who has fallen to the Black Rage was once a true titan among men. There is fiery-haired Astor, who, in days long forgotten, won the Feast of Blades. Also stands cunning Vettius, who survived losing an arm, only to fall to the Rage a few days later. Thunderous Abraxes, who was once Malakim Phoros' finest champion, still wields his hammer with skill. Tech Adept Ibrihim; losing such a mind is a grievous blow to the Chapter. Brother Telus, finest marksmen in the 2nd Company, first succumbed to the Rage on the surface of Optera. The only among their number without some notoriety is Velus, who was only an initiate when he fell, perhaps making him the most tragic of their number.
