Game Face Nation photo shoot...

This past weekend I was playing at the OFCC Open here in Portland, and a group called Game Face Nation had set up a nice professional photography station, and were taking custom photos of peoples armies. I couldn't resist, and threw a couple of my guys in there. The person I did the Kill Botz army also did it, so I included the shot of the Destroyer Lord from that army. Check em' out...

Some nice Farsight Riptides and Commanders. I have a third Riptide on the table ready to do in this scheme, and all three together should be pretty intimidating. I haven't not been painting lately, I just haven't been posting. See, look at all these Space Marines!

Brother Sven Tallstone, Deathwatch Kill-Marine

 So this is my Juggernaut Chaos Lord for my Mind Shackled Deathwatch Counts-As Chaos allied force. I mixed the Thunderwolf Cavalry rider with some Grey Hunter and Forge World bits to get a suitably brutal looking champion. Instead of his Chapter icon, like most Deathwatch, Sven has kept his Great Company marking on his remaining should pad.

"The Solitaire", the Artist Formerly Known as She Who Thirsts, the Leading Lady

I made this Solitaire HQ, an Autarch with Mantle of the Laughing God, Jetbike, Laser Lance, and Fusion Gun, for Big Red over at BoLS.
The base model is the new Finecast Alarielle the Radiant for High Elves, mounted on a Hellion Skyboard. I mounted the fusion gun on the skyboard, and altered her staff with the tip of a bright lance to make her laser lance. For the face, I hollowed out the back of a plastic head to create a mask for Alarielles face. The streamers to the base were in my bitz box, and I have no idea where they came from, but they are a nice piece...
I matched the colors to the other Harlequin unit I did for Big Red...
