King Kreel's Grand Hunt: Idoneth Deepkin

The Grand Hunt at the Warhammer Citadel

The Eidolon of Mathlann

King Kreel’s Grand Hunt

Pah’rah, the Living River, pours across Ghur like a snake, eternally emerging from the Swallowing Sea. Its channel is guided, like much of the landscape of Ghur, by a predatory instinct and hunger. It emerges from the sea and tears across the landscape until, satiated, it pours back into its primal source. None are safe from its sudden rage, not plump Ogor settlements, nor vast hosts of Orruks. But the ravages of raging waters are not the only peril that await those who encounter the Living River, for the dark green waters of the Living River have become home to an Enclave of one the Realms most secretive races.
A scion of Fuethan, King Kreel brought his people to Ghur in order to seek out the shallow places and feast on the souls of savages and beasts. There, in the Swallowing Sea, they founded the Malavoi Enclave. From the Eltharin which Teclis taught the Cythai, Kreel knew Malavoi meant “savagery of the deep”.

King Kreel and his Grand Hunt did not encounter the Living River until they had lived in Ghur for many years. When they finally did, they were awestruck. For ‘river’ is almost a misnomer for Pah’rah. Pah’rah is a crashing tsunami, far from sea. A massive wave on the horizon, consuming all it reaches. To the sea dwelling Malavoi, it was home. While they still visit their outposts in the sea, the bulk of the Malavoi Enclave continually travels with Pah’rah. Forever one with a never ending tide.
